Get Started with liveHarmony

After filling out this simple form, your registration will be complete and you will receive code for your chat room.

If you would just like to register a nickname (account), and not an associated chat room, you can use our nickname registration page.

Please note that for your security, nicknames and rooms cannot be registered if they are in use. Before registering, please ensure that there are no users in your room and sign off of the service.

Step 1: Choose a nickname

You'll need to select a nickname. This will act as your chatting name: it will be displayed to other users. You'll also need to choose a secret password for your nickname to ensure its security. We require a valid e-mail address for password retrieval.

Step 2: Choose a room

Each room (or channel) has a unique name. Please choose a short room name. Do not include the # (pound) character. You can also elect to hide your room from the public room listing.

Important: use of the liveHarmony service for commerical purposes requires prior permission. See our commercial use page for more information.

Step 3: Generate code

We offer three code types for web pages. Our simple code automatically creates a free web site for your room. Our advanced option lets you add the chat room directly into your page and customize its appearance. If you already have a Planet Z QuickChat applet, the QuickChat conversion option will convert it to our new code. (Use this option only if you have previously set up a room and generated code at www.quickchat.org.)
